One of our neighbors was quoted recently: "In [the neighborhood] you used to meet and talk to and feel the presence of the people who preceded you there, and that is ever less the case. I don't like that… I need a little more texture, that's all I'm saying."
We hope, on these pages, to provide some of that texture, and to introduce you to people you might not otherwise meet.
Who are we? Our talents are diverse: community organizer, photographer, blogger, government worker. We live and work in Washington, D.C., as do all our subjects. You'll find credits for the work on each page.
